There are many different sources of inspiration for everyone. For example, my best moment of inspiration is when I listen music, or when I hear stories about people, and also when I see people walking down the street, the thing is that all those ideas only stay in my mind, and is easy to forget them.
A Fashion Source Book for me represents a physical brainstorm, where you can land those ideas rather than have them flying in your mind; Images, phrases, ideas, history, videos, reviews, etc… that you can archive and return to them as many times as necessary.
These images that you can see here are very inspirational to me, they are from the famous photographer David LaChapelle. His work is characterized as very glamorous and surreal, but in a very controversial way. But why does he inspire me?
Well, my dream is to make fashion for large productions such as film, theater, video, photography or opera, and the work of David LaChapelle represents that aggressiveness and passion with which I would like to experiment someday.
